The Union Symphony Youth Orchestra is a full section orchestra with 85 talented students under the direction of Tom LaJoie, also the orchestra director at UNC Charlotte. The Union Symphony Youth Orchestra Prelude (junior string orchestra) will also perform. The USYO Prelude is having its inaugural season and is under the direction of Sabrina Howard. A reception in the rotunda will follow the concert.
