The 2nd annual Classical Idol, a benefit for the Charlotte Symphony held on Friday, April 12, 2013, at Spirit Square’s McGlohon Theater, will showcase how music transforms lives and helps foster social, cultural and economic change.
A diverse group of musicians, singers and other artists will engage and entertain the audience through live performances, personal testimonies about the impact of music, and videos highlighting music’s importance to our community. The audience will use cellphones to text votes for their favorite performers, with a grand winner chosen.
A pre-concert reception, open to all attendees, begins at 6:30pm. Performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
$60 - General Admission
$125 – Reserved section seating and VIP post-concert reception
