With eccentric choreographed dance moves and an eight-piece horn section, David Byrne and St. Vincent make their Belk Theater debut in a concert that will leave music fans buzzing!

A magnetic force called Happenstance brought David Byrne (ex Talking Heads) and St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) together, however their exciting new album ‘Love This Giant’ feels more like an act of fate. The New York City based duo has seen the last three years bring about a wonderfully creative dialogue resulting in a work that is brash and, quite literally, brassy. Sometimes Byrne and Clark trade verses, at others they sing in unison. Like great friends who can finish each other’s sentences, when one takes the spotlight alone it’s often with words that the other provided.

Called "marvelous" by the New Yorker and "magical" by NPR, the duo's collaborative album, ‘Love This Giant’ and tour last year earned rave reviews from TIME, New York Magazine, the NY Times, SPIN, and more, along with performances on Letterman, Fallon, and Colbert. The LA Times called their performance "jubilant," The Washington Post described it as "a kind of show you’d never seen or heard before," and the Hollywood Reporter praised their "amazing charisma." Their Letterman performance will re-air again March 6.
