As the 100 Words Film Festival enters its fourth year, we want to celebrate where we have been. In our first three years of the festival premiered more than 100 original films. These films were made by professional and student filmmakers from across the country - representing 20 states, and around the world from seven countries.

We have had our team go through all of the films from our first three years and create a collection of the very best films. This collection has been part of a national theatrical tour that has played across the country from Maine to California, Oregon to Pennsylvania. On Friday, November 3rd the tour ends where it began in Charlotte.

It will be a fun and exciting night as 15 of the very best 100 words films are screened. In addition to an incredible slate of 100 words films, many of the filmmakers featured in this collection have returned to be part of this special night.

Saturday, November 4th

The 4th Annual 100 Words Film Festival continues to celebrate concise, cinematic storytelling with a slate of brand new films created by professional and student filmmakers from around the world. The festival will present exclusive premieres, in every genre, all containing exactly 100 spoken words.

Many of this year’s filmmakers will be in attendance, as well as industry insiders. At the end of the evening, this year’s 100 Words Film Festival winners will be announced.

The 100 Words Film Festival was created in Charlotte and is a concept that ensures a film festival of world premieres, taps into a cultural craze for short films, and helps democratize filmmaking with a format that is financially accessible for nearly everyone.
