12th Annual Legacy Film Showcase

Overview

The Deltas of Charlotte Foundation presents 12th Annual Legacy Film Showcase: Ruby and Pearls Collection, Friday, January 16, 2015 at Spirit Square in Charlotte, NC.  A reception with light refreshments begins at 6:30pm and show time is 7:30pm.  Terrance Bates of WCCB News Rising will be the host for the evening as we feature short films of independent filmmakers both local and national.  The films are primarily written, produced, directed and/or featuring black women.  This year we will pay tribute to the late Actress, Activist, and Poet Ruby Dee.  In addition, you may get up close and personal with filmmakers and take part in a Q&A at the end of the showcase.  This will be an exciting evening of culture full of refreshments, networking, vendors, and great people!  This is one of our largest fundraisers where a portion of the proceeds benefit scholarships, so purchase your ticket today.  If you are interested in being a sponsor or vending at this event please contact Monique May at 901-517-7356 or mommymd@bellsouth.net.  We hope to see you there!  For more information on the Deltas of Charlotte Foundation, please visit our website:  www.deltasofcharlotte.org.
