Opera Carolina presents "Art Poetry Music: Celebrating Black History Month," a collaboration featuring local artists, musicians and poets dedicated to celebrating African-American culture.
This performance follows three years of "Art Poetry Music" (APM) concerts held by Opera Carolina to bring together Asian, Russian and Western cultures, and to build community through the power of art. For the first time, this event focuses on African-American influences.
APM features regional artists performing classical and spiritual music, enhanced by the creative talents of regional painters and Poets.
