Best Of Open Mic Celebration

Overview

Since 2013, Blumenthal Performing Arts has regularly hosted OPEN MIC  programs on selected Friday evenings to provide an opportunity for locals to perform on a professional stage before a supportive audience. Performances have included folk singers, pop singers, country singers, rappers, instrumentalists of all varieties, dancers of all genres, storytellers, poets, jugglers, magicians, comedians, and more.

Much to our delight, Blumenthal’s OPEN MIC pool of performers and potential performers continues to grow. For each event, over 100 individuals and groups each apply for the chance of their name being one of twenty randomly drawn for the opportunity to perform. OPEN MIC audiences also continue to grow.

To celebrate the success of Blumenthal’s OPEN MIC program thus far, we are pleased to present the First Annual Best of Open Mic Celebration. Recent audiences submitted names of their favorite acts. Performers who received the most name submissions—along with memorable acts from previous years—are being asked to return to the stage for this special event. Don’t miss this wonderful evening!

Blumenthal’s First Annual Best of Open Mic Celebration will be free to attend and seating will be first-come-first-serve!
