Overview
Mosaic-Arts kicks off their 2015-16 season with Henry Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas. This classic tale of love and loss recounts the story of Dido, queen of Carthage, and her doomed romance with the Trojan Prince Aeneas.
Dido and Aeneas is a one-hour opera in English and is presented in collaboration with the Opera Carolina Academy, a two-week student workshop featuring tailored instruction for the aspiring singing actor.
