Gina's Gospel Christmas Concert

Overview

Tis the season to be giving, so bring a new toy for a girl or a boy to Gina’s Gospel Christmas Concert on December 10, 2016 at the Duke Energy Theater! Bring a friend and come enjoy some good gospel music by recording artist Gina topped off with your favorite Christmas carols to get you in the Christmas spirit and ready to celebrate!

Teaming up with the Salvation Army this year, Gina is proud to host a Salvation Army Magical Toy Drive and audience members will be able to donate their toys directly to the Salvation Army at the concert. Previously, the Salvation Army has served close to 13,000 registered children in Mecklenburg and Union County, but each year the number of children registered outnumbers the amount of children adopted by the community. The toys collected at this toy drive will provide gifts for the children that were not adopted.  You can be that difference! Salvation Army collection barrels will be available on site.

Gina has a new CD titled “Release” produced by Grammy, Stellar and Dove Award winner Cedric Thompson. Gina has appeared on several television shows including Atlanta Live, Nite Line  and her songs have been featured on several radio stations. Gina toured nationally and sang background for such artist as Glenn Jones, Lenny Williams, CeCe Penniston, Dorothy Norwood and opened shows for the likes of the Four Tops, Temptations, Gladys Knight  The Pips, Tramaine Hawkins and Smokie Norful.
