Overview

Michael Tracy is a versatile singer, songwriter, and guitarist out of Charlotte, NC. His energy, talent, and lyrical style have earned him the respect of his peers and a growing fan base throughout the Southeastern US and beyond. In just a few short years since becoming a full time recording and performing artist, Michael has played hundreds of shows, won awards, and has shared the stage with some of the industries real heavy weights, including Styx, Foreigner, George Thorogood, Don Felder, Jefferson Starship, Dokken, and Zach Myers (Shinedown). After releasing his self produced album "Gonna Smile" (2015 Spectra Records) Michael has garnered notice by the notable production team of Bob Marlette and Sahaj Ticotin out of Los Angeles, CA. They recorded 3 new songs that appear on Michael's Jan. 2016 release album, "Love And Worries with the first single, a ballad called "Stand Behind Me." Michael's unique ability to capture catchy grooves along with interesting lyrical twists on universal themes coupled with his new team and a focus on mainstream radio quality productions by one of the industries most prolific producers, has raised high the expectations of Michael's future in 2016 and beyond.
