This month's featured artist: Ashley R. Lumpkin

Ashley R. "Milli" Lumpkin was born on Juneteenth in Arizona and leaves it to you to draw conclusions about freedom and fire. She is the author of two chapbooks, {} At First Sight and Terrorism and Other Topics for Tea. A lover of performance as well as the written word, she has been a competing member of Piedmont SLAM, Scuppernong Slammers, and the Bull City Slam team. She hosts the open mic series "Untitled: New Works and Works in Progress.” Ashley has been a featured presenter and/or facilitator at various colleges and universities across the country. 

Above all else, Ashley considers herself a teacher, poet, and changer of fates. She is a lover of mathematics and language. She loves you too.
