Smoke on the Mountain

Overview

Union County Playmakers in partnership with Central United Methodist Church in Monroe present the rollicking family musical SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Directed by Winston Sims, Smoke on the Mountain, is a much performed musical comedy set in a North Carolina Baptist Church in 1938. The play tells the story of a Saturday night Gospel sing and focuses on the traveling Sanders family, who have returned to performing after a five-year hiatus. It features rousing bluegrass songs and familiar old hymns. It’s a toe tapping good time!

Ticket prices:

$20 Reserved seating

$15 General Admission

$12 General Admission – Children (10 & under) / Senior Citizens (60 and over)

Tickets also on sale from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday-Thursday in the church office.
