Overview

The lineup for this event is Jason Atkins/keys, Mark Mulholland/guitar/vocals, John Martin/drums, Darrell Young/bass/vocals, Harvey Dalton Arnold/guitar/lead vocals. The Traffic Jam Band was started by John Martin. Evan Sealey was the first to join in to start building from there. After many shows it evolved into The Traffic Jam All Star Band. This became a "Jam Band" in the truest sense that always delivers a very high energy show. We are a regional band located in the foothills of North Carolina between Charlotte, NC and Asheville, NC. Our shows are always very special events because of our set-lists and diverse line-up of various top musicians in the area. The founding member, John Martin, has shared the stage with many accomplished and professional musicians and he continues to surround himself with the best of the best in an effort to bring the highest quality show available to the audiences. Our set-lists include original songs by some of our members and an abundance of many high profile, as well as obscure, covers. Rehearsing in "THE LAB" is where new stuff is cooked up and born. That too is where we experiment with additions to the long list of some of the very best musicians the area has to offer. This particular lab is not so much clinical as it is radical and a hell of a lot of fun!! So, any time anyone is invited to "THE LAB" it should be taken as a huge compliment regarding their given talent(s) as a musician. .... In the past The Traffic Jam All Star Band had a wonderful and very successful following at a local venue that is no longer there. It was a local venue that drew some really good talent from the surrounding area. We always sold it out with people waiting at the door to get in, it was Ichabod's in Shelby, NC. Matter of fact we were the last band to play there. We literally burned it down!!!! Two nights after we left the stage, it burned, reminisant of the Deep Purple thing except being smoke on the water, well, it was smoke on Lafayette Street. That just might spawn a new song someday. Well, back to "THE LAB" for more experiments and the results will come out soon for all to experience.
