Overview
The Echo Foundation is a Charlotte non-profit that uses education to inspire students to become the voices of conscience necessary to create a future built on human dignity, understanding, and justice. Each year, Echo accomplishes this by engaging students with global humanitarians and providing regional youth with opportunities to learn about, travel to, and serve locations of humanitarian importance.
This year, Echo celebrates its 25th anniversary by honoring Keynote Speaker, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, Dr. Aaron Ciechanover with the Sandra and Leon Levine Medal for Life. In addition, Echo will present its 25th Anniversary Echo Award Against Indifference to Atrium Health CEO Gene Woods.
