Please join Blumenthal Performing Art's Director of Artistic Experience, Bree Stallings, in conversation with internationally acclaimed artist Amanda Parer. Amanda Parer, of Australia, joins us in Charlotte for the first time ever, but her larger-than-life pieces have wowed Charlotte audiences for years (twice with "Intrude", last year's "Man" for the inaugural Charlotte International Arts Festival, and currently, two of her Fantastic Planet inflatable humanoids on display at Ballantyne's Backyard.)
This event is for artists and art appreciators alike who would love to learn more about the behind-the-scenes operations of a major art studio from ideation to fabrication and eventually, touring of large-scale pieces for public interaction. A free lunch will be served to the first 75 guests!
