Caritas A Cappella Ensemble Presents "Sing to the World

Overview

Caritas A Cappella Ensemble has commissioned and will premiere "Sing to the World: A Choral Cycle in Five Movements in Celebration of Music" by the composer Dan Locklair.

Locklair's music is widely performed throughout the United States and abroad. As well as solo, chamber, vocal and choral compositions, his catalog includes symphonic works, a ballet and an opera. 

"Sing to the World" promotes the mission of Caritas to promote a cappella artistry through inspiring singers and audience members as well as sparking an interest in other choral directors to teach this exciting new addition to the repertoire to their own choirs.

Caritas partners with non-profits to support and promote their own missions, including donating a portion of ticket proceeds. WDAV has been selected as the partner organization for this program.
