Overview

Close your eyes. Recall a beautiful sunset. The rich palette of reds, oranges, yellows and pinks melt into clouds of purples. Exploring the notion that art is music in two dimensions, how would these colors sound? When you listen to music,  what colors do you see? In Colors of Song, the Festival Singers will feature Vaughan Williams’ “Serenade to Music.” The evening will also explore the sound of color with the music of composers Eric Whitacre and Irving Berlin as well as Sunday from “Sunday in the Park with George” by Stephen Sondheim. Join us for an evening filled with a musical rainbow.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance until 5pm on Friday, May 17.  Additional tickets are available to purchase at the door.
