CIAF ArtWalks + Artist 

Join artists Elizabeth Palmisano or Rebecca Lipps and ArtWalksCLT for a guided Charlotte International Arts Festival ArtWalk in Uptown on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 3:30 pm or Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 5:30 pm. 

Be a part of the CIAF celebration by exploring interactive installations created just for the arts festival. Visit existing murals by Charlotte artists, go on a scavenger hunt for 100 Tiny Things, and hear about the creative process from amazing local artists.    

This one-hour-and-15-minute artwalk begins at the Mint Museum Plaza located at 500 S. Tryon Street and ends at Romare Bearden Park. 

This event is free, but sign-up is required. 
Light rail access is from the Convention Center. 

Featured artworks include: 

  • “Wishes and Whispers” by Elizabeth Palmisano 
  • H2O by ARTC 
  • “Fly Girl” by Sloane Siobhan 
  • “Where the Magic Happens” by Duarte Designs

Rebecca Lipps is a multifaceted artist and educator living in Charlotte, NC since 2013.  In her recent investigations, she combines material with technology to support conversations about visual shifts in the arts.  This driving force comes from the intuitive need to reflect and investigate the self to achieve therapeutic composure.  Her objective is to further immerse her art in the communities of Charlotte to develop connections among the people of this city.  For more info go to www.rebeccalippsart.com or follow @rebeccalippsart on Instagram.

Elizabeth Palmisano is an award-winning mixed-media installation and fiber artist living and working in Charlotte, NC. She was voted “Best Visual Artist” in the QC Nerve 2020 Best in the Nest Awards. Palmisano's community work taps into the power of art, mindfulness, and experiential learning.
