I Dream is a new Rhythm & Blues opera by Douglas Tappin that fuses classical, jazz, contemporary and Broadway styles to powerfully tell the story of the final 36 hours in the remarkable life of American icon Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and recount his legacy through flash-backs to the beginnings of the Civil Rights Movement and Dr. King and Coretta’s journey together.
