The Funny Godmothers bring clean and clever comedy to theaters, corporate, and fundraising events. Each Funny Godmother is a nationally touring headliner who is also featured on Dry Bar Comedy. These wise and witty women come together in this hilarious show leaving audiences happily ever laughter!

KAREN MORGAN was born and raised in Athens, Georgia, but now calls Maine home. A former trial attorney, she began her professional comedy career as a finalist on Nickelodeon Television’s Search for the Funniest Mom in America. Since then, she has performed in comedy clubs and theaters from New York to Hollywood. Karen’s latest comedy album Mean Candy can be heard on Sirius XM Radio, and her comedy special can be seen on Dry Bar Comedy.

Her TV appearances include comedy shows, and ads for companies like Wal-Mart and Zyrtec. Karen’s clean shows in performing arts centers around the country have made her a favorite among theater audiences. Still licensed to practice law in Maine and Georgia, Karen’s humor brings laughter to many corporate events and fundraisers for charitable organizations. She lives in Cumberland, Maine, and misses Waffle House very much.

TARA BROWN, "the godmother of comedy," performs clean and family-friendly stand-up across the country. She has shared the stage with nationally touring, headlining comedians, including Theo Von, Ilana Glazer, Cristela Alonzo, Josh Wolf, Ryan Hamilton, Jimmie “JJ” Walker, and the late John Witherspoon. She has been featured on WBTV-TV, WJZY-TV, WBT Radio, The Lancaster News, Carolina Gateway, and The Charlotte Post. CharlotteFive.com named her as one of “The Standup Comedians You Need to Know in Charlotte,” while Queen City Nerve named her as “Best Comedian” for 2019 in their “Best of the Nest Readers’ Picks.” Tara is the most recent winner of “Jeanne Robertson’s Comedy with Class Humor Competition,” and is the co-host of the Preachers’ Kids podcast. Tara’s Dry Bar Comedy special was released in 2022. Tara Brown is a native of Brooklyn, New York, and now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
