Overview

Charlotte magician Hayden “Haydini” Childress will be debuting at Blumenthal Art’s Stage Door Theater March 23. This show will feature new magic and audience participation including: unlocking an audience member’s locked, encrypted cell phone, vanishing a person, and Haydini’s signature sleight of hand card magic.

You may have seen Haydini on Charlotte’s FOX46 “Good Day Charlotte” performing magic like making a thought of animal appear in a signed photograph of meteorologist Nick Kosir.

“Magic has always fascinated me ever since I started learning it as a kid. I love being surprised and being fooled, and I have created a magic show that I really think is going to blow you away!” says Hayden (Haydini). “ The show that I perform also really engages the audience, which I think is more important today now than ever because live theater is competing more and more with things like YouTube and Facebook. I want the audience to feel like a part of the show which is something you can’t get from a YouTube video!”

Haydini | Magician runs one night March 23rd, 2018. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with show starting at 8 p.m. Run-time is 75 minutes with no intermission. General admission tickets are $25 and the show is family friendly. Student discounts are available at the door for $18. Haydini is an award-winningmagician from Charlotte who specializes in the art of illusion, and since the age of 10, Haydini has worked his way up from busking the streets of uptown Charlotte to headlining venues in the bustling art/theater/comedy venues in the Charlotte area. He has performed for organizations such as Emory University and Bosch, and has been gaining popularity for his original and fast-paced, interactive magic show.
