Overview
Please join us for a FREE improv workshop on Saturday, February 1, at Knight Gallery in Spirit Square! A part of the Queen City Comedy Spotlight series, IMPROV for ACTORS will be held from 3:30 – 5:00pm and is suitable for ages 15+. All levels are welcome.
The Improv for Actors workshop teaches actors the fundamentals of improv. Skills acquired in this workshop can be applied to scripted and non-scripted work. This workshop will give more confidence when asked to improvise in commercials and scripted work.
Taught by: Karla Dingle, Improv Director at Acting Out Studio.
Karla started performing improv in Charlotte in 2009. She is a resident cast member with Now are the Foxes Improv Comedy and Charlotte Comedy Theater. She was instrumental in setting up the Queen City Comedy Experience and can be seen each month at the Blumenthal as part of the Queen City Spotlight!
