JazzArts All-Star Youth Ensemble Showcase

Overview

Join us as our young ambassadors of jazz, the JazzArts All-Star Youth Ensemble, perform a special evening of music for night only.  Possessing a musical maturity rarely heard from high school musicians, the All-Stars will feature renditions from some of your favorite jazz icons, such as Thelonious Monk, Cole Porter, and John Coltrane, including the All-Stars’ original compositions from their 2019 repertoire.  Come out and support the future of jazz and the JazzArts Academy scholarships program.

Premiere Thursdays presents a fresh and carefully curated kaleidoscope of exclusively themed programming for one-night only, or as a “premiere” to the popular JAZZ ROOM weekend shows.

The JazzArts All-Star Youth Ensemble is composed of some of the Charlotte region’s brightest talents, including dedicated student musicians from a variety of middle and high schools.  These skilled young artists play in venues across the region and continue to earn accolades wherever they perform.
