Juneteenth Jam Kick-Off Block Party

Overview

Kick off your Juneteenth holiday with a summer block party! We’re taking over Levine Avenue and cranking up the celebration! Hosted by Corey “C’Yo” Brown and in partnership with Winston “Wilmo” Robinson, Executive Director of The Applesauce Group, and Washington Kofi, Founder of the Kofi Creative Group, we bring you a taste of Africa LIVE meets A Vibe Outside.

The lineup includes art, music, and fashion from the African diaspora, and a DC-style GoGo band experience with the world-famous Iconic Truth Band!

Performances by Shaemovement, Kofi Creative Group, Royal Ezenwa, and a storytelling fashion show with the incomparable Hippie Conquest!  

Pop out to the block party! DJ Beezy and DJ Justice will be on the 1s and 2s, food vendors will be on-site, and the viral line dancers from Mad Miles Run Club will be providing the vibes!
