Meet The Experts

Rob Nelson is an ecologist who specialized in both fish and aquatic invasive plants early in his career. He now runs UntamedScience.com and StoneAgeMan.com and hopes to get people so excited about biology that they get out and start taking care of their little sliver of this world.

Kate Shaner has known she wanted to work with animals since the day she brought home a cat (read: opossum playing dead) and asked if she could fix it and keep it. Kate has a degree in Zoology and Anthropology and has worked in the Environmental Education field for 11 years using live animals to educate people on animals and the natural world. Through her teachings, she hopes to inspire her audience to take interest and take action in environmental conservation.
