It’s April Fool’s, so come out and laugh. Queen City Comedy and the Blumenthal Performing Arts present a night of laughter featuring local improvisers and comedians! We’ve got 2 shows at 7pm and 9pm at the Booth Playhouse which includes an Improv Comedy Jam where you can be on stage and play with our performers. Don’t be a Fool, get your tickets now!

Improv Comedy Showdown • April 1 at 7:00 PM

Queen City Comedy has invited some of the best, brightest and funniest improvisers from around the Carolinas to compete for your applause and your laughs. Our line up includes players from Charlotte Comedy Theater, Sunday Supper, Now are the Foxes and Mom’s Adhesive. Your laughs and applause will influence the outcoming along with our star studded Judge Panel featuring Joe Hunsaker, Keith Williams and Don Garrett.

Come out to see Charlotte’s Favorite Funny Folks - Now are the Foxes for this free Improv Showcase. We’ll start with some improv with the foxes and some of their friends and then, we’ll turn things over to our hosts Blake Edwards and Keith Williams to host an improv jam! A jam is a chance for anyone to come on stage and try some improv with our players. No experience necessary. You’ll sign up to jump on the big stage and play. Not sure you want to play - no worries. Grab a spot in the audience and you can provide the applause and the suggestions for our players. 18+ to play.
