Comedy Collaborations: A Ladies Improv Jam!

Overview

Hosted by Karla Dingle and Jenn Bianchi, the Ladies Improv Jam is a chance for women to come out and perform on stage with their fellow female-identifying improvisers in a fun, supportive environment. All levels of experience are welcome to participate (everyone who signs up will get a chance to perform on stage). Come out to laugh, support, and have fun. Not ready to take the stage? You can still watch and laugh with us in the audience!

About your Hosts

Karla Dingle is the Improv Director at Acting Out Studio. She started performing improv in Charlotte in 2009. She is a resident cast member with Now are the Foxes Improv Comedy, Background Noise and Charlotte Comedy Theater. She was instrumental in setting up the Queen City Comedy Experience and can be seen each month at the Blumenthal as part of the Queen City Spotlight!

Jenn Bianchi is a performer, producer, coach, and educator with PIT-Chapel Hill. Jenn has taught and performed at several theatres all over the southeast including Alchemy, ComedyWorx, DSI, and Charlotte Comedy Theatre. She is a founding member of the all female team The Land Mermaids. You can catch her playing with Solid Dad, Now are the Foxes (Charlotte), and Pit-Chapel Hill Faculty Team Elegant Pierogies.
