Spring Works
Presented by Barings
Energy and discovery abound at Spring Works with the introduction of three new choreographers to Charlotte Ballet, including former Charlotte Ballet dancer Bryan Arias, who Artistic Director Hope Muir regards as one of the most promising emerging choreographers today. Bryan is joined by fellow up-and-comer Filipe Portugal, who makes his North American choreographic debut at Charlotte Ballet. The seasoned and highly acclaimed choreographer Helen Pickett is reprising her mesmerizing pas de deux Tsukiyo. Closing the performance, the return of Ohad Naharin’s Minus 16 leaves you feeling enlightened and entertained.
NEW THIS SEASON- A Family Matinee on April 28 kicks off with fun, interactive activities in the lobby at 1 PM and a modified performance to suit family audiences at 2 PM. Tickets for children are just $15 and are made possible by The Leon Levine Foundation. Must purchase Regular priced ticket for adults attending. Ticket orders will be checked before printing.
