Sun-Music Presents Ray Greene

Overview

A Ray Greene performance is a worthy night out - fun, warm, and filled with music audiences recognize and understand as he goes from classic pop, R&B, gospel, and tunes from his latest album, Stay. He makes his audience, move, groove, swoon, and pray.

The multi-talented Mr. Greene is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who lives in Columbia, South Carolina. He travels world-wide with Carlos Santana as a vocalist, trombonist, and percussionist.  

Ray earned a degree in Music Performance from the world-renowned Berklee College of Music. He was selected from several competitors around the country to serve as lead singer/trombonist for the legendary soul band, Tower of Power, traveling throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and Japan. He was then asked to join famed guitarist and Woodstock performer Carlos Santana, with whom he currently travels all over the world.

He has performed and recorded with many of the most successful and influential names in the fields of pop, funk, and soul. His voice has been featured in commercials for Converse, ESPN, Cadillac, Bose, Fox Television, and Walt Disney Productions.

Greene most recently signed a licensing and recording deal with Ubuntu Records in the UK. His recording entitled Stay, was released this Spring of 2023. He is currently on a solo tour of Europe to support the release of the recording. Ray begins his tour of the United States in Spring of 2024.
