Overview
The Gay Men’s Chorus of Charlotte presents The Light Within, featuring the groundbreaking work NakedMan by librettist Phillip Littell and composer Robert Seeley. GMCC is presenting the work in its Carolina debut. It is soul-bearing in speaking to the experience of LGBTQ people growing up, coming out, and struggling for equality.
Appearing with GMCC will be the Lynchburg Alliance Community Choir, a brand-new ensemble formed in the shadow of one of the leaders of the national anti-LGBTQ movement, Jerry Falwell, Jr. and Liberty University.
