In response to the Executive Order from NC Governor Roy Cooper to suspend all gatherings of 100 or more people, Blumenthal Performing Arts has suspended all public events in its facilities March 14-April 12, 2020. This includes: Belk Theater, Booth Playhouse and Stage Door Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center; McGlohon Theater and Duke Energy Theater at Spirit Square; and Knight Theater. CANCELLED SHOWS: See below for cancelled events at area theaters who use the CarolinaTix ticketing platform. Refunds will be issued automatically to cancelled shows unless the show presenter is a non-profit who requests we offer buyers the option to donate the value of their purchase to the sponsoring organization. Events with the donation option are highlighted with "Donation Option Available". Click on that link to authorize your donation. (You also can request an immediate refund or account credit on this form.)

POSTPONED EVENTS: Postponed events are working to reschedule and we encourage buyers to wait and see if the rescheduled dates will work for them before requesting refunds. Refunds will be made if the rescheduled date is not satisfactory to you, or you may choose to donate the value of your order in the case of non-profits who request we provide this option. Events with the donation option are highlighted below with a Donation Option Available. Click on that link to authorize a donation.  (You also can request an immediate refund or account credit on this form.)

CANCELLED EVENTS

Ticket buyers will be refunded for cancelled events.  No action is needed if you would like a refund, but you may want consider donating your purchase if it was sponsored by a non-profit organization. Click on the donate option to authorize us to convert your purchase to a donation in cases where that is possible. You also have the option to request a refund or credit to your account on this form.

 

RESCHEDULED EVENTS

Your current tickets will be valid for rescheduled dates. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, please click here.

  • The Foxies at Neighborhood Theatre -  March 12 - has been moved to May 31
  • The Floozies at Neighborhood Theater - March 15. This event has been rescheduled for August 9. If you are unable to attend the August 9 event, please contact [email protected] and request a refund by April 1.
  • University City Wine Festival at the Shoppes at University Place - April 18 - This event has been postponed to September 19.

 

POSTPONED EVENTS

Postponed events are working to reschedule dates. Your current tickets will be honored. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, you will be refunded.
For some non-profit events, you also may opt to donate your purchase to the sponsoring organization.  Click on the donate option to authorize us to convert your purchase to a donation. You also have the option to request a refund or credit to your account on this form.

    • Message from the producers: The performances of Sweeney Todd are postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. Once we know the rescheduled date, we will honor any tickets already purchased.
