Charlotte’s young professionals are invited to get an exclusive first look at The Jazz Garden Tent at Romare Bearden Park and enjoy a free show as we gear up for Charlotte Jazz Festival and Charlotte SHOUT!
5:30-7 PM: YP MIXER
Mix and mingle in this one-of-a-kind tent venue that will be front and center throughout Charlotte SHOUT! And the Charlotte Jazz Festival. Network with other young professionals, enjoy free snacks and a drink from the cash bar on-site and get info about all of the YP groups the Queen City has to offer.
7 PM: Sammy Miller & The Congregation
Take a seat (or stand/dance) and enjoy the show as Sammy Miller & The Congregation present a high-energy jazz concert unlike any other. Grammy®-nominated drummer Sammy Miller has become known for his unique maturity and relentless focus on making music that feels good. As a band, they are focused on sharing the power of community through their music -- joyful jazz.
