Three Bone Theatre 2018-2019 Season
Three Bone Theatre’s 2018-2019 season features complex characters, compelling stories, and the best of contemporary theatre. We believe that great theatre can be a catalyst for conversation and change in our community.
The 2018-2019 season includes four Charlotte premieres, continuing our tradition of bringing new work to Charlotte audiences and artists.
The season opens in November 2018 with the East Coast premiere of THE DAFFODIL GIRLS, a smart dark comedy that takes the classic story of David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross, and reimagines it in the competitive world of scouting during cookies sale season.
In February 2019 we will present the regional premiere of BY THE WATER, a beautiful dramatic comedy that follows a family in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
In May 2019 we are honored to present the Charlotte premiere of OSLO, winner of every major theatre award in 2017 including the Tony Award for Best New Play. J.T. Roger’s impressive play tells the unbelievable true story of the back channel dealing that made the 1993 Israeli-Palestinian peace accord possible.
The season wraps up with a bang in August 2019 with the Charlotte premiere of PIPELINE, winner of the Edgerton Foundation New Play Award. The latest from powerhouse playwright Dominique Morisseau, PIPELINE is the deeply moving story of a mother’s fight to give her son a future — without turning her back on the community that made him who he is.
